The opportunity

Founded in 1998 and based in North Carolina, Custom Home Exteriors and CHE Commercial are also known as The CHE Companies. CHE serves the residential and commercial exteriors industry with siding, roofing, and gutter solutions, with a focus on precision, care, and dedication to excellence.

The CHE finance team had some AP automation in place with their ERP, NetSuite, however, their current use of NetSuite fell short of expectations, leaving critical tasks unaddressed. The team still had to enter invoices manually, which was inefficient and error-prone. Purchase order (PO) matching was also entirely manual and consumed significant time and resources. When POs didn’t match, resolving these issues required further manual intervention, further delaying the process. 

With increasing invoice volumes came more bottlenecks and operational strain, making their current level of automation unsustainable. CHE leadership knew they needed to eliminate these manual pains and realize more automation across the entire operation.
